Joss Whedon’s ‘The Avengers’ will begin shooting in April 2011.
The Marvel Studios project – which will feature Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson and was originally scheduled to lens in February – has already entered pre-production and will undergo principal photography from April until September in New Mexico.
It will be the biggest feature film to have been shot in the southern US state to date, Variety
