Mavericks sign G-F Brewer (AP)

DALLAS (AP)—The Dallas Mavericks have signed forward Corey Brewer(notes), giving
them a young, athletic swingman who is likely to help most on defense.
Brewer was waived Tuesday by the New York Knicks. As soon as he cleared
waivers, he agreed to a multi-year deal with the Mavericks.
Brewer averaged 8.6 points and 2.7 rebounds this season. He
